From the program you sent, this is a full fuse schedule.  I think you were looking for a slump schedule. When your piece slumped, it was way too hot and began to dogbone. Slumping temperatures are between 1200-1250.

Try this schedule for your next slump:

1  300   1100    30

2  300  1200    20

3  300  1250     154  9999 900      60

Hurricane Helene and Milton hit the SW Florida coast within a week of each other. We wish the best to all of those dealing with the repairs of their homes and studios.  Luckily, neither hurricane damaged the Glass Duchess Studio. The Glass Duchess Studio is committed to the advancement of Glass Fusing.  If you are without your studio and your kilns due to these hurricanes. Let us know! We are happy to have you as our guest FREE of charge to fire your pieces.

So how did you spend your summer?

Ten of us from the Glass Duchess Studio traveled to Portland Oregon to visit Bullseye Glass for an intense Bullseye Explorer 5-day workshop. While there we got the surprise of a lifetime. Narcissus Quagliata was working on a project, and we were thrilled he gave us a presentation of his life and work. Priceless!

Pictured from left to right first row: Irene Rafferty, Allyson Barker, Judy Toby, Nat Alcamo, Bullseye Instructor Bonnie Celeste, Janie Duke, Dee Sutphin, Donna Palm. Back row: Bullseye rep Sasha Miller, Diana Campagnone, Bullseye Instructor Hannah Gulick, Michelle Sager, and Andrea Bastien.
